Attention North Carolina Educators!

Get Ready for In-Person Summer Learning with Solutions Designed to Meet the Needs of North Carolina School Districts.

Governor Cooper has signed House Bill 196 into law providing funding support for in-person learning this summer to help districts address COVID learning loss for at-risk students throughout North Carolina. Also in progress is House Bill 82, which, in its current state, would require districts to provide at least 150 hours of in-person instruction for at-risk students. Is your district prepared to meet the new requirements for in-person learning this summer? Are your teachers? Have you got a plan for summer programming (activities, curriculum, etc.)?

Public Consulting Group (PCG) and our partners at University Instructors (UI) can help you prepare! Our strategically designed summer programming options will help you meet the needs of your students and teachers, with solutions that would fulfill proposed measures aimed at prioritizing learning for North Carolina’s K-12 students this summer. More than any summer before, this year represents an opportunity to reimagine education and construct programs that meet children where they are and give them what they need to overcome the negative impacts of COVID-19. In addition to offering customizable programming and learning materials, we offer a variety of off-the-shelf solutions to help you quickly scale programming to meet students’ needs this summer, both in-person and virtually.

We offer instruction delivered five days per week, for at least five hours per day, including a physical activity period and can also provide customized instructional content to meet your district’s specific needs. For example, we offer targeted in-person instruction for core and elective courses to help students recover credits needed to meet graduation requirements.

Supports to Help All Students Succeed

Our summer learning solutions enable you to prioritize at-risk students while also providing supports to additional students not identified as “at risk” when space is available. We can assist your outreach to families and students and offer supports to help you increase program participation by offering a fun, positive environment with enrichment activities to counteract the negative impacts from COVID-19 on student social interactions and development.
